I'll add my two cents. I avoided posting on Ovarit after the start, I avoid mostly posting on Vexxed. The current change to avoid the hot topics will be amazing, if they make a circle, even better, a circle I will probably never post in

The way they talk in there is frankly racist. I come from a Muslim family, but have left the faith, and I am more than ready to criticise it, it's a horrible faith imo. But they don't just criticise the faith, they think that because my father was of that faith, he would be more likely to rape, molest people, which is utterly disgusting. Some of the stuff on immigration is borderline insulting, apparently I should be grateful to random Vexxed users because their ancestors created a good country. Overall, on that topic, I don't even want to comment.

On Trump, it was ridiculous watching here from Europe how much there were women, actual women simping for a rapist. I got the nerve to DM a user about the right wing stuff on a thread about Musk, where she was the only one who wasn't acting like Musk was a TERF. A RADICAL FEMINIST. MUSK? I get you can be right wing, but you can't just call sexist men like Musk as radical feminist.

I am also hugely annoyed every time I see someone act like a right wing man > left wing man. Honestly, I'm a lesbian, so men can go do one, but in general, do I prefer a man who has no idea what a woman is or a man who thinks that a woman should stay at home, not be a lesbian and be his dutiful wife? The choice seems very obvious to me, no matter how much you hide it behind, "At least Right wing men know what a woman is."

GC was not right wing as a sub. At least my memory of it was not a right wing sub. Late stage Ovarit, and Vexxed so far, outside of some threads, wouldn't be out of place on r/conservative.

Let me also say that I am not exactly Pro-Palestine, or Pro-Israel, I feel for the dead civilians and the dead hostages, and all those suffering. But the threads were just insane.

I hope to really post a lot more here, I think you guys are a bit more to the left of me on many things, but it's one thing to disagree on some things, it's one thing for people to act like some people aren't human, some kids deserve to die, or that some women can't be trusted (Which is what someone said, saying they'd trust a white man over a Pakistani woman, which I'm not from Pakistan, but just seems absurd)

(Oct 19 2025, 8:16 PM)Wrongtoy I can’t directly respond to the last poster, but it is u deniable that some of the most public gc “terfs” are hardcore Zionists insisting that if you have a problem with the genocide, you’re a tra.

I recall getting several downvotes on Ovarit for saying both the IDF and Hamas harm women and that's it's wrong. They'll downvote totally innocuous comments, and still do on Vexxed. All the whataboutism's when anyone criticizes Israel are equally ridiculous.

(Oct 14 2025, 4:54 PM)komorebi IMHO, the real answer that almost nobody involved wants to accept is that if you are trying to craft a certain culture on your platform, you have to punish and even remove users who are ruining the vibes. Call it censorship or whatever you want, but it is what it is. If you refuse to remove users who are shitting everything up, then the users who can't stand shit are going to leave, while the users who love shit are gleefully rolling around in it, lapping it up, and producing even more shit. I'm not singling Vexxed or Ovarit out here; this is just the reality of the internet now. Any platform or community that is not properly moderated soon devolves into garbage.

Please imagine me upvoting your comment so hard I broke my phone screen. Ovarit and now Vexxed are degrading into right-wing circle jerks because mods are not modding (bc they don't have time to mod, agree with the shitposters, etc., it doesn't matter). The decline is a choice.

I just meet these women where they’re at.

https://vexxed.org/o/Women/5815/the-taliban-the-world-s-most-victorious-losers/edda7be7-0504-493c-811d-efb15f7a5b30

All Western intervention did was relegate women to far worse conditions than in 2003. None of the Zionist women and honestly a minority of Western radfems  would likely endorse more migration of niquabi and their children including males to a neighborhood near them. Attempts to hook girls up with English language mentors will end up getting whole families killed for what’s basically a Twitter relationship.

Action to support the most women over the short term might actually be the education and elevation of an aunt Lydia class to make sure the female population propagates and to keep them in line. One of the interesting twists with Lydia is that she wasn’t responsible for a single execution.

I mean, a lot of radfems would want to accept women from these cultures, but it's impossible without primarily accepting their sociopathic rapist husbands who control and own them. And bringing men into the country who think women are nothing but sex slaves is not very feminist.

I refuse to debate two obvious facts: 1. the patriarchy exists 2. and that's a bad thing

Even if the husbands could theoretically be excluded, male children could not. Most children are gender conforming and most adapt this early. Plus, if the rule is to never criticize women regardless of what they have on, that goes just as well for the niquabi who want the right to go to beauty salons while otherwise presenting themselves in a tent in public for etnhnicreligious reasons none of us agree with.

I was grumpy when I wrote my original post and felt kind of bad about the wording afterwards... 🤣 But yeah, the point stands. Either build the community you want or don't, but if you choose not to, there's no point wringing your hands about it. I am in theory all for the free and open exchange of ideas, but in an online sphere that is now infested to the brim with bots, paid agitators working out of troll farms, and just a whole lot of people that really need to touch grass, achieving that ideal without any intervention is just a pipe dream. Ironically, "censorship" with the goal of crafting an environment where thoughtful and measured discussion can take place is what might actually get you the free and open exchange of ideas. Anything else is just people rattling the bars of their cages and screaming at each other about whatever cause célèbre the right-wing media industrial complex has decided to champion next.

I'm not on the inferior third-gen iteration of what r/GenderCritical used to be (yet) and honestly hadn't even noticed it existed until I joined this board, but as our classiest contributor, thought I'd offer an unsolicited thought anyway:

Much has been said here about what the most ideal set of rules for a place like Vexxed might be. Has it been a mistake to make the place an all-women's space united by the common cause of gender ID skepticism or should membership be restricted to avowed feminists? This kind of debate. My thought is this: Most of my favorite places to visit online allow only women (of course), but also have a formal rule that limits or outright bars defending men. I think you'll find that policies like that work wonders for the general atmosphere. Now that's not the same thing entirely as restricting a place to formal feminists, but it's probably better really. I mean over on r/4BMovement, for example, it's rare, but on occasion you actually will get a non-feminist or conservative feminist woman who's there embracing female separatism for reasons like feeling that the modern man isn't chivalrous enough or what have you. I think that's acceptable. But banning male sympathizers has the desirable effect of preventing pick-me posts defending Charlie Kirk, Joe Rogan, the Taliban, etc. Now on the other hand, it does tend to still allow debates about topics like immigration policy (I've seen debates about the merits of women-only immigration policies on the same sub, for instance), stuff like this, and I think that's the right approach too. I find that a pretty favorable framing of discussion. It sets the tone as specifically pro-female and also makes women's advocacy the priority over left-right politics. I believe if it were somehow possible to introduce a similar policy to a place like Vexxed, the tone would qualitatively improve.

It's acceptable to work with conservatives on some issues, IMO, as long as the terms are right. No working with conservative men and no defending men. Just my take as an outsider. Take it for what it's worth.
