Anyone want to come on a pod and talk about cuts to funding for women's programs and organizations?
Anyone want to come on a pod and talk about cuts to funding for women's programs and organizations?
MSM and Big Pod are not talking about this. There's not even much about it in the bigger feminist platforms. Cuts from USAID to FEMA to the DOJ's programs for DV/SA support orgs are massive, dire. And the US is not the only country cutting or affected. Anyone here know contacts I could reach out to? Or run or work at such and org?
One article at UN for example: https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/blog/2025/05/half-of-womens-organizations-in-crisis-zones-risk-closure-within-six-months/#:~:text=Women's%20organisations%20operating%20in%20crisis,within%20the%20next%20six%20months.

that is a good topic. in canada government funders made gender ideology catering a requirement for funding women
nina from canada ehthat is a good topic. in canada government funders made gender ideology catering a requirement for funding women
we could talk about that too, because it also happened in the US and elsewhere. but now, under the admin that 'knows what a woman is' all of the funding is all gone for violence related services. like, we are in a serious bind either way we reach.
Much as it sucks that liberals demanded women's rights organisations to cater to trans identified men, it's way worse when they cater to all men, period, as conservatives demands. At least your average TIM needs to commit to the "humiliating" claim of being a woman, whereas your usual misogynistic men don't have to do jack to be entitled to violating women's rights.
