But even as experienced workers age out of the field, young men are more likely to fill those spots. Some women have forged ahead anyway.

With the way knowledge workers are being displaced by both AI and "just because" types of layoffs, maybe it's time for younger women to get ahead of the curve and explore the trades. It's not going to be easy for them though. Never has been for women in that world.
