Design for women, by women - CNN - Elsacat - Jul 12 2025 https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2025/07/style/objects-redesigned-for-women/ Can't say I care about the shapewear or a fancy-looking health tracker, because those just reinforce typical "feminine" gender standards, but there's genuinely useful redesign here that pushes back against the default male standard. RE: Design for women, by women - CNN - VerdantHorizon - Jul 12 2025 I'm excited to read about the redesigned mammogram. I haven't had to start those yet, but my mom's stopped going to them altogether because they hurt her so much... and her mom died of breast cancer, so it must be truly awful for her to avoid them. The currently available ones do sound awful, and if they were less terrible maybe fewer women would die of that.
