I agree that minimizing the visible passage of bodily fluids is the generally courteous thing to do in public. I utilize a mask when I’m sick and in public, for example.

When my sisters had their kids, they both elected for a drape at family gatherings being that there would be three adult men there. I mean, I would not want to reveal my breast to male in laws.

Whereas in this specific situation, we are dealing with a mil visiting her dil’s house. You know what they say, “my house, my rules”
